Behind Lienaro there's a person, not a department.
My name is Abdalazez Alahmad. I come from Syria, have lived in Salzburg for sixteen years, and design websites and brands for small businesses from here — in German, English and Arabic.
Engineering first, design second.
What I learned first was the technical side: a technical institute in Damascus, then computer science at the University of Salzburg. For seven years I looked after the ERP system at Alpenrind GmbH — the system a whole company runs its orders, stock and invoicing through.
That sounds far from design. It isn't. Once you have spent years sorting out how a company actually works, you look at a menu or a website differently: not as a picture, but as something that has to function on a busy day. Where does a guest look first? Which detail is missing when someone calls? What costs the business time every day because it sits in the wrong place?
Design came on top of that, because I enjoy it. Eight years now — first alongside the job, then as the job, and since 2026 as my own business, Lienaro.
Few questions, clear drafts.
Most of the businesses I work with have no marketing department and no time for long approval rounds. So I keep the path short: one conversation where I understand who comes to you and what's missing — then drafts you can judge straight away.
At the end you get every file you need: for the print shop, for the window, for Instagram. Plus the colours and fonts, so any other designer or printer can pick up the work later without calling me.
- Based in. Salzburg, Austria. In-person meetings across the city, everything else by phone and email.
- Languages. German, English and Arabic — advice and copy in all three.
- Education. Computer science at the University of Salzburg, before that a technical institute in Damascus.
- Registered. A registered advertising business seated in Salzburg, invoices with VAT ID.
- Tools. Canva, Adobe formats, print-ready PDFs and templates you can edit yourself.
- Before this. Seven years looking after the ERP system at Alpenrind GmbH in Salzburg.
- Alongside design. A podcast for English learners and a few books of my own.
- What I don't do. Large campaigns and paid ads. Everything that makes a small business visible, I do.
One draft that lands beats ten to choose from.
If you want to know whether that suits your plans, just write a few lines about what you're after.
